New Medicare Policies and Regulations
The American Association for Homecare (AAHomecare), an organization representing home medical equipment providers, equipment manufacturers and other organizations in the homecare community, recently released results of a survey of more than 125 mobility providers that found that new Medicare policies and regulations are crippling their businesses and making it more difficult for Medicare beneficiaries to receive power wheelchairs prescribed by their doctors. Owner of Preston Mobility Plus, Inc, Brett Carroll joins the show to discuss this survey and the affect it has on equipment providers.
Brett Carroll owns Preston Mobility Plus, Inc, full line durability medical equipment (DME) supplier located in the Texas market since 2002.
