Jonathan H. Wheeler, M.D. is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, the Orange County Obstetrics and Gynecology Society and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and has served as Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Hoag Hospital. Dr. Wheeler is committed to advancing techniques employed in the care of women’s obstetric and gynecologic services. By advancing minimally invasive surgical techniques (MIS), he has strived to reduce hospital stays, shorten postoperative recovery time and lower pain. Dr. Wheeler specializes in minimally invasive surgeries. These include: Robotic hysterectomy – total and subtotal with ovarian preservation, robotic and laparoscopic treatment of fibroids, pelvic pain, endometriosis, ovarian masses with fertility preservation and hysteroscopic procedures including treatment for heavy bleeding, polyps and fibroids.
