Cecelia Sanders has been working in the field of aging for over 30 years. She began with Senior Services Associates as an information and assistance coordinator and left the agency 12 years later as Coordinator for the Kendall County office and Associate Director for the agency. She then worked for The Salvation Army Golden Diners, a senior nutrition and home delivered meal program, as Community Liaison; writing grants, doing fund-raising and coordinating volunteers. She was also the senior issues columnist for "The Daily Herald" and "The Beacon News." Cecelia is currently the Marketing Coordinator for Sunnymere of Aurora, Inc. a non-profit, independent and assisted senior living community located in Aurora, Illinois. She is also an instructor in the Lifelong Learning Program at Waubonsee Community College on the “Five Wishes” program dealing with end of life issues.
