Whole Grains For A Healthy Life
Dr. Travis Stork, author and host of medical talk show “The Doctors” says whole grain is a key component of a healthy diet. A diet high in whole grain has been found to help with diabetes and weight management and may help reduce the risk of heart disease and certain cancers. So it’s imperative everyone gets enough.
Dr. Travis Stork is a faculty physician in the Emergency Department at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN and host of the EMMY Award winning television program THE DOCTORS. His credentials include graduating Magna Cum Laude from Duke University and earning his M.D. with Honors from the University of Virginia. He completed his residency as an emergency room doctor at Vanderbilt University. A fervent believer in good health, Dr. Stork practices what he preaches and likes to teach by example. With his role on THE DOCTORS, he hopes to enlighten your audience on how to attain and maintain good health; by the time they get to the ER, it’s too late. So Dr. Stork hopes to inspire listeners to avoid preventable illness. What sold Dr. Stork on being involved in the daytime show was when Dr. Phil McGraw told him that he could educate more people in a one-hour episode than during his entire life in the ER.
