Olympic Legend, Bruce Jenner and Pain Management Pharmacist, Linda Maxwell
National Arthritis Month
MAY is National Arthritis Month. Bruce Jenner, Olympic Legend and one of our Nation's Greatest Athletes joins Meg, along with Pain Management Pharmacist, Linda Maxwell to discuss our nation's leading cause of disability...arthritis!
Bruce captivated the world when he broke the world record by scoring 8,634 points in the decathlon at the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal and earned the title, "World's Greatest Athlete." Bruce's spontaneous victory lap around the Olympic track with an American flag draped over his shoulders has been emulated by athletes around the world. Bruce suffers from osteoarthritis in his knee, a result of two knee surgeries and wear and tear from over 50 years of being active.
