Jeffrey A. Kazmucha, MS, CES, CSCS, is a pediatric clinical exercise physiologist at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital (LPCH) of Stanford University Hospital and Clinics in Palo Alto, California. In 1996 he attended Florida State University, Tallahassee, Florida, and in two years he earned a Bachelors of Science in Exercise, Food and Nutrition Sciences. In 1998 he attended Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana, and in two years he finished his graduate training with a Master's of Science in Clinical Exercise Physiology. He currently is the lead pediatric clinical exercise physiologist and manages the Pediatric Cardiopulmonary Exercise Laboratory at LPCH of Stanford University Hospital and Clinics. As the pediatric clinical exercise physiologist he is heavily involved in conducting pediatric clinical exercise tests, developing exercise prescriptions, performing exercise-related research and putting together disease prevention programs. Mr. Kazmucha is also certified as an American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Certified Clinical Exercise Specialist and National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He works as a private health consultant, personal trainer and sports therapist to athletes and athletic teams, clientele and corporate organizations located in the San Francisco Bay Area and Silicon Valley. He is an active member of his certified bodies, such as being involved in local and regional committees and serving as a key item writer, and promotes and supports their health improvement programs, especially the ACSM Exercise is Medicine health initiative to the world.
