Vertigo is a feeling that you or your surroundings are moving when there is no actual movement. You may feel as though you are spinning, whirling, falling, or tilting. When you have severe vertigo, you may feel very nauseated or vomit. You may have trouble walking or standing, and you may lose your balance and fall.

He has worked at St. Jude Hospital in St. Lucia and at the Alaskan Native Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska. Dr. Hampson’s philosophy of care is to provide patients and their families with kind, compassionate care with an emphasis on education. It is important to him to provide patients with an understanding of their medical condition and offer choices so they can be an active participant in the healing process.
