Dr. Sage Myers is a pediatric emergency medicine physician at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Instructor of pediatrics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Her research interests include pediatric trauma care and the optimization of systems of acute care for sick and injured children. Dr. Myers received her undergraduate training in biomedical engineering at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH and attended medical school at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester, MA. She completed a residency in pediatrics at Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital, where she also served as chief resident, and completed a fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. Myers is currently enrolled in a Masters program in Clinical Epidemiology and plans to complete this degree by the end of 2011. In addition to this formal training, Dr. Myers has spent a year in South Korea as a Fulbright Scholar, as well as a year performing research at the NIH in Bethesda, MD as a Howard Hughes Medical Institute-NIH Cloister Scholar.
